Ah, the birds & bees question..

Krish: How did you get the baby into your tummy? Did you swallow the baby? , did you swallow me too when i was in your tummy? Krish: How is the baby going to get out of your tummy? Is your tummy going to explode? My mom, very proudly, "you childern never asked these questions" translation 'dumb idiots'.

Krishisms at three and a half years

Me: Krish, I have too many things to carry. Can you please carry your lunch bag to the car?

Krish: Mummy, I cannot! I am wearing gloves!

After I am done hanging the zillion bags on all available space on my shoulders and hands..

Krish: See! I told you you can do it!

How my mind works

I read a blog post about making paneer.

Part 1 of my conversation with my brain – ‘Oh, this is such a good idea! I think I should make paneer. But wait..I am going non-dairy…Maybe, I can make it with soymilk..I get such brilliant ideas

Part 2 of my conversation with my brain (after about an hour or so) – ‘Isn’t soymilk paneer Tofu?

I may not be good at it but it's a free country...

It really pisses me off when some of these blogger's sit on their high horses and go on about perfect English, punctuation and other unimportant, nonsensical shit. One even had the gal to say that all the writing should be left to people who know how to do it (she is a journalist) and the others shouldn't try!  I mean, really??

Krishisms

“He is picking his nose and I should not have to look at it”.

When I went to drop Krish this morning, his teacher stopped reading the story she was reading to the kids, got up and came and told me that Krish actually said that yesterday.

LOL, seriously?

Some cute pictures that I want to carry to my grave...

Some beautiful moments in the innocent friendships of three and half year olds -
 1)  conversation with Krish while brushing his teeth
me: where were you sleeping for your nap today in the toddler room?
Krish: near the sink.
Me: do you like sleeping near the sink?
Krish: yes
Me: why?
Krish : because I can see Tanu from there
Really, how cute is that!!

2)One evening when I go to pick up Krish from the playground, I see him pushing a bicycle apparently helping Tanu to ride :)

3) One evening as soon as I enter his school, Marc his other 'best friend' comes running , tells him that his mom has come and gets him his bag and his coat!
